Testing the API in Postman (without credentials)¶

In this example we will use the Carbon Footprint Indicator for Transportation API. The full documentation for this API is available here.
If you don't have access to the API yet, you can create a mock server for the API in Postman which can be used to test the API. Click on Create Mock Server, pick the collection, give it a name and click on Create.
After the mock server has been created, copy the URL to the clipboard.
Navigate to Collection/Variables and change the value of {{baseUrl}} variable to the newly copied mock server URL. Don't forget to click on Save.
After that you can test the API by using your Mock Server. If you want you may also set up some examples to make the testing more realistic.
